ABOUT ETC

ETC was incorporated in 1989, in Birmingham, Alabama, by Dr. Margaret V. Naugle, an educator, attorney and business owner. Following 28 years of service, Dr. Naugle sold the assets of ETC to Safety Environmental Laboratories and Consulting, Inc. (SELC).

ETC has evolved into a full-service training and consulting firm, staffing fulltime professionals in the Environmental, Health and Safety Fields. The complex issues that arise when trying to comply with the intricate intertwining regulations of the various federal, state and local agencies are too great for any one person to have all the answers.

ETC provides a network of professionals to meet the complex EPA, OSHA and DOT compliance needs of its clients. Professional engineers, certified industrial hygienists, certified safety professionals, and certified hazardous materials managers are available to assist those with environmental health and safety concerns.
Staff Members of ETC live in EPA Region IV. Most have advanced degrees and have worked in their respective fields for more than 10 years and are actively engaged in their respective professional associations.
